I've done two dives in Cozumel, both on the same day and very different. Loved both of them. I have no other reference besides the two sites. So I have no valid input into dive sites and no knowledge about what dive sites are better and which are less preferable.

Also I expect the dive masters don't really want to go to boring drab sites.

And I'm betting that the schedule they post will cover a nice range of sites with different experiences.

I have been diving Cozumel for 30 years and I have yet to dive a site there that I thought was boring or drab. My favorite Cozumel dive site is a tossup between the last site I dove and the next one I will be diving. :D

It's much less about what the DMs want and has more to do with which are the popular sites with clients as well, how far they are from the dock, how much current, challenge, etc. I don't think you'll ever see Punta Sur or Maracaibo on the schedule for example. I think they even advertise something like only 15 reefs to choose from.

I've had extremely few dives in Cozumel that I didn't get at least some enjoyment out of and, when I didn't, it was mostly on me.
