Is there anybody else here in the keys?

What are you going to do?

Seas are 5 to 6 feet, and visibility apparently is crap.

Are you finding anything different?

Hey! You don't know how good you have it there. I would kill for 5-6 foot seas!

I do not live in the keys but my heart and soul lives there. I visit there 2-3 weeks every year. Expect me to be there starting 30 June and I am not leaving until 15 July.

I have been diving there when the viz was 5-10 feet or less (loved it!). I have been diving there when the entire boat was pukking their guts out (I was under water loving it!).

What is great about the Keys is that it changes all the time. One constant, the water is always warm!!!!!

Where I reside, the Jersy shore is still around 55 degrees and the viz is 10 feet tops! The ride out is to brave 6-8 foot waves on a good day. However, I still love it!

So all I have to say is to get it on and dive whatever mother nature gives you. You never know what will show up.

I live in Key Largo and dove today. The conditions are much better. Waiting to get my first glimpse of the Spiegel Grove. The report at this point is that she should be open to the public by the end of this week. My friend dove it and described it as an awesome dive, absolutely massive with both props showing :) He believes it will be a top wreck dive. I have been invited to go out on it the first day it's open to the public and I'll report what I see.

Being a local and a diver I like to check out the different operators in town. There is a new dive operation called Bluewater Divers at MM 100 in Key Largo. These guys are awesome!!! They are friendly, have alot of experience, are willing and take the time to answer any questions, the boat is comfortable and they keep it uncrowded, and the best part is they give you plenty of time in the water:) These guys really love what they do!

These are the guys I will be diving the Spiegel Grove with and I'll be recommending them to my friends and family when they come to town.

Check them out at www.bluewaterdiver.net

Hope to see ya on the Gove;)
