this weekend after the rain we are supposed to get the next 2 days, any one think it would be worth it trying to dive.I am not that familiar with diving conditions after a heavy rain, how long generally for water to clear up.

Forecast is for 10-16 foot waves by Thursday :zap1: http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/afos/LAX/SRF/LAXSRFLOX Big waves mean lots of sand stirred up in the water and it will take a few days for that to settle out.

Friday looks terrible around Pt Fermin http://cdip.ucsd.edu/models/forecast/fp_lac_000.gif

Then there is the water polution issue, diving not recommened for 3 days near a storm drain after a rain.

Unfortunatly, it looks like there may be anouther storm comming after this one. Oh well, it is the rainy season.

Right now, patience is the name of the game...

Or do as the birds do and head south!

We made a dive last night out of Dana Point. Maybe 6" of visability at 40', even with my 2-50 watt lamps. It's time to let the gear dry out for a few days.
