Any place near Crystal or Rainbow river you can walk in?

Hi I am new to this site and also scuba. My son and I are getting certified this weekend up at Rainbow/Crystal River and wanted to know if anyone knows any good areas in the vicinity of there where you can park the car and walk into the river to dive? After our test I would hate to have to pay for another seat on a boat to go back out exactly where I came from but I have tanks and want to spend some time diving before we head back down south. Any ideas on good diving area would be appreciated!
