Any one ever thought of buying one of these, grounding it, filling it up with water and saying its a wreck dive? Also the tanks would be like a pool.

lol, ah the days of sitting on the beach at the dive centre, watching all the large tankers go to the cement factory, cheering them on to sink (there are not many people on the tankers, we are not that evil)

What do tankers go to cement centers for?

i duno, they stay away from the beach, usuing up all the petrol/diesel/oil, what ever they run on, and then when they are high enough in the water, they go to the cement factory, fill up with cement, move into deeper water, and get filled up with petrol/diesel/oil(whatever) and then they go and take the cement away...

obviously we would want it to sink when its almost lost all its fuel, and when it hasnt got the cement inside...
it would be like the Zenobia all over again!

I WANT TO DIVE ZENOBIA!!!!! Why does everyone rub it in my face that they have and I haven't?

i put a picture of the sub that goes down there, when/if you dive there, becareful, the driver is a nutter and has bumped into the Zen many a time....its amazingly noisey aswell

Thanks looooooooaaaaaaaaads. I just want to go there more now. Where is it? We might be going on the cruise! Or at least near it. And your pics are better than mine.

It's in Cyprus
http://www.divernet.com/wrecks/0303zenobia.htm
there a bit on it there.
the deepest part there is abou 45-50m
its just of the cost, takes about 3mins on a boat to get there from Larnaca Habour.
The Zenobia was meant to be unsinkable, but once again, the computers got it wrong!

If you land in Larnaca Airport apparently you can see it, although I've never been able to see it like that.

I havent seen many cruise ships around Cyprus, it would probably be better to be based on land.

if you need anymore advice, ask...I used to live in Cyprus, and i go back every year
