I'm scheduled to dive with Jeremy in January. I've emailed him and haven't heard anything yet. He is usually very prompt about email and I do understand he may not have email access. I'm just worried about him and I understand that his boat sank.

redhatmama, we're booked with Jeremy for early December. I read on the update from Aldora yesterday that the Living Underwater boat was sunk and under one of the large Dive Paradise boats. Yikes! I hope for Jeremy that it's not as grim as it sounds. He's such a wonderful person, runs a great dive operation and is so passionate about diving.

Since I'm sure he's got alot to deal with right now to take care of his personal property, family and whatever the situation is with his boat, give him a week or two to sort thing out and if you still don't hear anything, send another email. I would think that most dive ops will have to deal with clients who were scheduled for the next 3-4 weeks first before getting to those of us with Dec, Jan and later trips.

He probably doesn't have electricity yet either. I would wait until at least next week before even thinking about getting a reply.

Well, I'm more concerned about his safety than anything else. I haven't read anywhere that Jeremy came through the storm unhurt.

Received an email today from Jeremy to let me know if he and his family is ok and that he hopes to be operational by the middle of November.

Yea!

Although the boat Living Underwater has sunk, it actually is owned by Max the outboard guru of Cozumel ( I was his Padrino at his wedding to Gladys) and he rents it to Jeremy and others on ocasion. Being that it is a big souce of income to Max I am sure that will be high on his list of things to repair...certainly before other dive shops. Thus there is great certainty that Jeremy will have a boat to use fairly soon.

Thanks, we are grateful to hear that Jeremy and his family are OK. We had not heard back from him, and are relieved to know they are OK. We will look forward to hearing about the progress of repair on his boat, as we are scheduled to dive with him the end of december.

We're booked to dive with Jeremy for 4 days in early December. Our original hotel is closed, but I did get another one, so we are set! Looking forward to it.

scubawife--have you heard from Jeremy? Will he be up and running for early December--I hope so for your sake and his.
