Thanks and I would agree that 4 a day is enough, especially if you are diving on air although this particular boat offers EAN32 at no additional charge.

I was quite randomly having a beer with one of Sea Serpent's guides two days ago, and I reckon that you'll be well looked after should you - or anybody else - book with them. I'm always going to recommend Samaka and Blue 02 as the font of all Red Sea South knowledge though. Drop him a line for more detailed information and recommendations.

Thanks. Appreciate any additional information on the boat/crew/etc. I am also planning to do some local diving around Marsa Alam - any recommendations on the dive operation for local diving? Do they require a guide for shore diving?
