Any Hockey Fans Around???

This better not be true, or the league will look like it condones what Simon did. I got this from the TSN.ca website, and saw it reported on ESPN's sportsticker while watching a basketball game as well.
"TSN.ca posted a story stating that Simon had been suspended for 15 regular season games and seven playoff games"

TSN has retracted that report.

I read that. However, on the "hotstove" segment of Hockey Night in Canada tonight, they discussed the Simon hit, and they seemed to believe it will be about what was reported, based on Hollweg not missing any time, and Hollweg's crushing Simon into the board just prior to him retaliating with the two fisted slash across the face.
As I posted before, I hope they don't just slap him on the wrist with a 15 game suspension. It's time to make a statement that things like that won't be tolerated, and people like Simon, who are repeat offenders, have no place in the league.

Not quite enough in my opinion, but at least they took action to remove him for the rest of this season.

Blackhawks are on a 3 game win streak .Four more games to go on this road trip. Tuesday night they play San Jose.Yep going to watch the game Tuesday night at Buffalo Wild Wings they host so many road games a seasom so that all of there eating places which i think is 15 get a night. The best part the Blackhawk / Budwiser Ice Girls will be there and they have chances to win tickets during the game and between periods. they also come to your table and ask you triva questions to win hat s or t shirts.

He's not the only one gone for the season.....the players union voted and Ted Saskin was sent home on a paid leave of absence while an internal review is conducted. According to the article I read, players who are involved say he won't be back.
