Go Maple Leafs...I'm not sure where they should go, but somewhere other than the NHL.

Ok, we got plenty of hockey fans, which is great, now how many hockey players do we have here?

Any level, just wanna get some idea of how many guys here actually spend time on the ice, as well as under it.

I used to play left wing in our local men's league.....gave it up due to my knees. I couldn't afford to lose work over it. I've also coached at the Pee Wee level. Last time I played was last year, playing pond hockey one afternoon with some friends, but now that we are finally having winter, we'll probably set something up and play again.

Nice, I've been playing since I was 5, won a couple silver stick championships, had some good teams over the years. I play a couple times a week these days.

Had to give up playing in my "senior" league here in the hockey hub of DFW. Increasing prices for ice time, and un-Godly hours for games (yep played a few games starting at midnight) cause the wife to make me choose between hockey and diving.

Nitrogen 1, ice 0.

Now, I just get to take my Bauer's (now called Nike for you youngster's out there) for a not so often spin on local rinks. My knees are happy.

With that said...

F-ing Senators. Two games against them, and the B's get one goal. It was fitting to see a Viagra ad on the dasher board in front of the B's bench, and a Waste Management ad behind the Bruins goal for two periods.

I smell a fire sale in Boston, who wants Brad Stuart?

Sorry i dont play i just watch it and love the game . Got my first taste of a Hockey game back in the 60 s in San Diego when i was growing up watching the San Diego Gulls of the Western Hockey League and have been Hooked ever since. Then when i moved out to this neck of the Woods in 78 i have been a big Chicago Blackshawks fan ever since i went to my first NHL game in Oct of 78 at the then Chicago Stadium. Been going to at least 10 to 13 games a year now so maybe next year we just might go a head and buy one of those 11 game plan s the Hawks offer.

Haha, Ice Hockey players are about as rare in georgia as republicans are in California.
