My old geezer open hockey night starts on sept 13. Can't wait!!

I remember those cold winter nights down at the local ice rink in Minnesota when I was growing up. Icecikles hanging from my eye lashes and toes so cold that I couldn't feel them anymore.

I'm starting to remember why I left the great white north. ;)

Big hockey fan here, and I got all you guys beat. Grew up in Pittsburgh where we all know the greatest player to ever lace'em up is from :) Kudos to Gretzky, Howe, and Orr, but Mario didn't even play 1000 games in his career and had over 1700 points. The Chicago fan and Stars fan should still have fond memories of Mario and the rest of the Penguins in their minds, just messin guys. After playing 4 years for the University of Pittsburgh I also made a lot of connections in the sport, and for the last 3 years I have spent a weekend with the entire Miracle on Ice team in Minnesota doing some sports marketing work for them. Ironically, I spent my 21st bday drinking with them, and not my girlfriend, won't ever forget that one. To be honest with you, Hockey is more of my obsession than scuba, which maybe I shouldn't say on this board. But you'll all be able to see me screaming when Crosby and Malkin score at a rink near you. Good to see we have some hockey fans on here though, here's to another great year!

AquaBoy 35. I got the chance to see Pitt play The Hawks last year there only visit to the Windy city.It was a sellout and Crosby was really sharp and is a very good player. Now my question to you is are they going give him the big C this year like there talking about????
