I'm considering going to Bonaire for 1 week in April. I'm wondering if there are good gyms (anything with a squat rack, barbells, and, maybe bumper plates, or alternatively a crossfit-type place). Obviously, working out isn't going to be my focus, but if there is a good gym I would probably bring my stuff.

Thx,

Joss

My understanding before reading the two links, was that before is okay as long as it is not excessive exercise. Is this still the general consensus?

Also, all of the schlepping tanks and swimming around in the ocean half of the day kept me feeling as though it was a pretty active vacation without my morning workout. However this time we will be there for two weeks, so we shall see!

Just FYI... Use caution when exercising and diving on vacation...

Seriously??????????????? Send me your money and stay home. The only thing you should be doing on Bonaire other than eating or sleeping is diving. Stay home and go to the gym. I'll go in your place and dive my butt off.
