Cuan Law is paid for, airfare is booked and paid for, now I just need a hotel the night before the boat departs and for two nights after we return.

Tortola is expensive and there seem to be some beautiful hotels...just way out of my budget. I am trying to stay at $150 per night or less. A beach would be wonderful, but if not, an ocean view will suffice.

Anyone have any experience or comments on the following hotels? Also feel free to make other suggestions.

Maria's by the Sea
Lambert Beach Resort
Prospect Reef

Thanks a million! It is so exciting to be planning MY vacation. I help people plan their Cozumel vacations everyday, so it's very exciting to be planning my OWN vacation!

Christi-
You must not have liked my hotel suggestions within your other post. I can't tell you much on Maria's or Lambert Beach. As far as the Prospect Reef goes, It's a nice hotel. We stayed there for 10 days in early 2004. The rooms are simple but very clean. Both ground level and 2nd story ones are within the complex. They are well furnished and with plenty of hot H2O. The also have some condo style units but they may be bigger than you need. Not much of a beach, as you sit behind a small rock Jetty, but the view of Peter Island across the water is fantastic. The hotel staff was wonderful and the food good. It is also within walking distance to a couple other small food places. There is a computer available within the hotel office for guest use. Hope this helps, Ken :42:

We stayed a night at Prospect Reef on the way over to Cooper and I would stay there again. On site food and drink, nice view and lots of hammocks - what more could you want?
