In mid April I'll be heading to Bangor, Wales in the U.K. from Sacramento, Ca. and was hoping to do some local diving. Anyone have any recommendations for somewhere close? I've heard there's some good diving in southern Wales but really haven't heard of anything up north. Anything will do, I just want to take a day and try out the waters!

Thanks

Lots of diving around the North Wales Anglesey areas, also easy reach of the Liverpool bay area. You have a wealth of choice, wrecks, scenic, maine life.

There is a hardboat that runs out from the Menai Pier (opposite Bangor) run by a guy called Scott Waterman, he's co-written a book about the sites around this area.

His contact details for booking a trip on one of his boats is:

+44 (0) 7974 249005 (Mobile)
+44 (0) 01248 716923 (Tel)

Will be there this weekend :)
