I'm going to be just south of Monterrey for about a week. I know its not near the ocean, but are there any good dive spots kinda close to there? I don't want to travel too far. Thanks!

Its about 5 hours away and best done as an overnight, try Media Luna, MediaLuna :: Hotel & Resort ::. The site is in Spanish so email them. Saul, the owner speaks English. Otherwise, that part of Mexico is pretty dry. Have a great time and best view of Monterey is from your rear view mirror.
