Anyone familiar with this shop on Trapelo Road in Belmont? I was surprised to find it when hunting for a tank rental (it was closed) but looked like a decent sized shop.

I had some regs serviced 2 or 3 yrs ago by them. They did a good job. One of the owners, I think her name is Paulene(sp) was decent to deal with. my other expereince with Paulene was not so good.

I went back a second time to get my GF the basics for an OW class and she was a bit abrasive to her and got upset about how long it was taking to try on lots of fins/masks. my GF waas not comfortable with the fit ( you all know how it was when you first try stuff on, you really dont know how stuff is supposed to fit ). Paulene's attitude was not the type that sets customers at ease in my opinion.

Bear in mind this was 2-3 yrs ago so I would recommend going in and talking to the staff and making up your own mind.

I tried on a bunch of BCs there a few months ago, the person I dealt with, could have been Pauline, was pretty helpful and patient. (Strictly a subjective opinion here, but I somehow got the feeling this would vary a lot with her mood.)

On the other hand, I was interested in a particular BC that they didn't have the right size in but it was supposed to be coming, she took my name and number to call when they got it and I never heard anything from her again. (Since bought elsewhere.)
