Is there an advantage to such masks? The only thing I can think of is easier to clear. Do you lose field of view?

Thanks

"Obvious, the benefits become, when with a low-volume mask, do you dive!"

Seems counter intuitive, but with a low volume mask the lense is closer to your eye so the field of view is actually WIDER not smaller.

Imagine looking out a window in your home. Which can you see more out of: a picture window if you're standing across the room or a smaller window right at the tip of your nose?

My choice is an Atomic Frameless. Widest field of view you'll find anywhere. (Widest in recent Scuba Diving magazine mask roundup.)

got ya
I want a frameless mask but I don't want to go back to wearing contact lenses :(

I don't understand your comment. I have an Atomics Frameless, with custom lenses from PDM. Why do you think prescription, low volume and frameless don't go together?

it has two lenses in it?
i didn't think you could get prescriptions in those masks

You can put glued in lenses in single window masks.
