I'm a bit late to this discussion so I'll just agree with every RM said with one craveat. You don't have to do 5+dives a day to have a great time at CCV. Yes, their unlimited 24/7 diving makes it possible but alot of guest do a couple dive a day, swing in a hammock, catch some rays or take one of the daily excursion activities off CCV island. It's very easy to rent a jeep and tour the island on your own for thos photo ops. You can get some great panoramic view from the top of the 'mountain'!

We always stay in the first bungalow close to the bar/clubhouse. We are early risers so we're in bed by 9-10pm and we've never noticed undo noise from the clubhouse. If you need a nightlife other than what you can make for yourself, AKR may be your best choice. But of you're a photographer, you can't beat those vertical walls, the Front Yard and truly freedom of diving.

Still searching the web every time I look I find a new place knowing me after a couple of weeks of searching I will end up at the other side of the world. You ever have days like that ?.

Decisions Decisions Decisions I have dived at Anthony's key from a cruise ship and enjoyed it but I have heard a lot about Coco View. So anyone done both and what did you find the best, I have to book a week vacation for this year or lose it.

I have stayed at both resorts but prefer CCV. Why you ask?
the shore diving is the greatest it is a quite resort away from the rest of the world and the people who run it are wonderful.

We usually book through this company http://www.roatan.com./ and they will be glad to fix you up with any place on the island.

CCV also has beach houses you can rent and they are nice as well. http://www.roatan.com./catalog/honduras/hframeset.htm
