Polish diver, Grzegorz "Banan" Domink, discoverer of Goya wreck
http://www.shipwreckregistry.com/index6.htm
world champion in the deepest wreck diving (210 meters) died in Poland while testing new scrubber.

Not many details are known right now.

Banan was one the best Polish and European divers.
I met him few times and always with great pleasure was listening to his stories.

My condolences to his family and friends

Wow, what a shame.

Best wishes to his family and loved ones.

Very sad. My condolences and best wishes to his family, too.

Terrible news. Being part Polish, it saddens me even more. Best wishes to the family and friends.

Very sad news. My condolences to the family. Always tragic when our family loses a member doing what we love to do.

I heard sad news yesterday from our common friends from Vis (Komiza). I met him few times and I was always impressed with his achievments. My condolences to his family.

Does anyone have any details on the failure itself? It troubles me that I am looking into this type of rebreather and such an accomplished diver could not manage it.

My heart fealt sadness goes out to all who knew him.
