Many of you know Michael Kane (posts here as MHK.) This afternoon we had a local miracle - Michael's lovely wife gave birth to their first child. A masculine child. The boy is 6 pounds, 1 ounce (so he'll likely will be using an AL50 or HP63 for a bit before moving up to a 130.) The little guy is healthy, the family is doing well and its just another beautiful day in SoCal.

Huge congrats, Chief.

So if anyone is wondering where Michael has been, or why he's been out of touch - this is it. And you know, I can't think of a better reason to be out of the water.

Prayers of thanks for you and your family. This is indeed great news.

Congratulations to the expanding Kane family!! Got three masculine child units myself. They're a great source of joy. I'm teaching the oldest one to drive right now... OMG. :11:

Congrats!

We're going to stop calling you "chief" and start calling you "papa"! Papa Kane!

Enjoy!

My firstborn should be making his debut any day now too, so I'm empathizing like crazy.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congrats.
I was going to say something humorous, but decided just to remind you to take lots of photos and video so you can remember him as a newborn. In a few years, it will all seem like a dream. BTW: the dive boat got back to the dock at around midnight on Monday and my first-born asked if I wanted him to drive the DiveMobile home.
