Hello all,
Just joined up after reading some of the posts. I was PADI certified over 20 yrs ago and had a long layoff from diving..... you know, marriage and the kids thing!! Well, still got the 3 kids (and the wife!), but I've been getting back into diving for the past 2 years. Still not diving as much as I want, but working on that. Got my son certified after high school last summer and the two of us took our first father/son diving trip to Cozumel last December. Great time was had and many thanks to Cesar at Caribbean Divers. They were great!!! So, now, I'm looking to get into the photography side of diving. I took a very basic 35mm low end camera with me in Dec and also a few weeks ago when I dove during a cruise....(Belize and Cozumel).... Didn't take long to see that the present camera just won't cut it. Need some help and recommendations to get a digital camera.... not the low end nor the high end..... just a good camera for someone who may get about 3 diving trips per year.... Looking to spend in the $400-600 range. Thanks for any help or direction in this matter .

Drollins.....
