Hello All, After 32 years of being certified I finally bought my own gear. My wife got matching stuff. She's been certified since 1997.
Got a travel package including AquaLung Zuma BC, Micron Reg and Octo, Zoop Computer. Used it in the pool a few nights ago to get used to it. I can't wait to look at something more exciting than filter lint.
We previously dove every 3-5 years with rental gear during a vacation. Those have included Hawaii and Jamaica twice. Now the kids are getting into the teens which gives us more freedom. We hope to increase our diving to 2 vacations/year and some local Michigan diving.
Will visit Cozumel for Christmas this year for diving. Staying at the Allegro and diving with ProDiveMex. Great reviews of them on this board so we're really psyched. The kids will do their first dives down there.
We have some vacation time without the kids in June and we're considering Bonaire. Would love to hear recommendations. Using frequent fliers with Delta so there are some restrictions on where I can go.
