Hi (nearly) divers!

Here is another new kid on the block.
Have read the forum every now and then and thought it would be nice to make myself known.

I live in the Netherlands :dutchflag:.
My logbook whispers I am an experienced diver, but then again, when is one really...

I love to dive the Dutch lakes and rivers on a weekly basis.
Yes, it’s true, the water is dark over here and rather cold, and yes, the fish are small (luckily so are their teeth… :D ) but even girls like me can get used to the dark and the cold and we do have our share of aquatic life like nudies, sea horses and their family, anemones, huge crayfish, starfish and pink, orange and purple coral. Therefore despite the cold and dark, every single dive is a little party for me and my favorite buddy.
Another good thing is that I do not feel ‘spoiled’ yet and do enjoy the warm and clear blue waters to the full when abroad.

I have travelled a bit and my favorite area is the Pacific.

Keep sharks out of my sight and I am a happy girl.

Hope to read and learn a lot on the Scuba Board and maybe every now and then post something smart. C U there!

Alice in Wonderland

Welcome to SB, Alice in Wonderland. Good to have you here.

I agree that every single dive is a little party but I actually prefer to see wild sharks on my dives so we differ in that way. My best dives are the ones where I encounter sharks and rays. See you underwater.

welcome aboard
