Yeah, that's brutal. I lived many years in Thompson, MB where that was quite common (though not as much lately with global warming). If you had -40 and any wind at all the radio announced skin freezes in 30 seconds. Fortunately, not so much wind up in the trees.Thanks and unfortunately it is not. Good news though it’s only -30C today, might have even hit -28 for a bit. Next week is supposed to be more reasonable around -5C to -10C.
I moved to Saint John, NB for and taught there for a year. I asked the Principal where I could "plug in". He asked plug in what?, "are you gunna make some toast?".
