Thanks and unfortunately it is not. Good news though it’s only -30C today, might have even hit -28 for a bit. Next week is supposed to be more reasonable around -5C to -10C.
Yeah, that's brutal. I lived many years in Thompson, MB where that was quite common (though not as much lately with global warming). If you had -40 and any wind at all the radio announced skin freezes in 30 seconds. Fortunately, not so much wind up in the trees.
I moved to Saint John, NB for and taught there for a year. I asked the Principal where I could "plug in". He asked plug in what?, "are you gunna make some toast?".

Welcome and hello from a fellow Edmontonian. I also went to Cozumel for my first dives after getting OW and decided to stick with warm water after finishing my OW dives in Jasper.
