Welcome to the board. Nice list of equipment. I always try to fill out my log book for two reasons. One, I have a hard copy of my dives just in case something goes wrong with my computer (which happened to my wife's computer--she was lucky, she had hard copies) I have a physical copy of all my dives. Also, you are less likely to leave things out of the comments section.

Yea, I think your right I will deffinatly get my dive buddy to sign off on my logbook as well. Looks like another Typhoon heading my way so it might be a while until I actually get to use it. The wait is killing me....

Hello Tim, and welcome to the board!
:balloon

It is your choice about the dive logs, but I have been diving for 15 years, and I stopped getting buddy signatures a long time ago. Everything I do now with logging is electronic. I keep my information in an Excel spreadsheet which is backed up to my PDA and is also part of my regular computer backup. I find that it is easier to keep track of my dives, and my comments tend to be much more detailed now.

Anyway, welcome and enjoy!

I think I'm with you on the computer thing besides it's easier. I also agree with the comments thing I think I would be a little more detailed if I were typeing it in. Thank You for the comments.
