Hi everyone I have been reading this board for quite a while and I've learned a lot. Still a long ways to go though! I got certified last month but I've been snorkeling all my life. I don't know why I didn't get certified earlier. Now I only have about 15 dives but once I get full set of gear I plan to go diving all the time. I live in Orlando (just graduated from UCF) and got certified in Blue Springs but my girlfriend and her parents are avid divers and they have a boat in Ft Pierce and that's where most my dives have been. If there's anyone here from the Central Florida area I wouldn't mind going to see more springs or wrecks offshore. I just need to get a job first so I can get my own BC, regulator and tank.

Welcome abored the Scubaboard. My home town is Ft. Pierce. My son-in-law does some diving in Ft Pierce as that is where three of our kids live. It helps to complete your profile, then we all know who you are, thanks.
Welcome to the board! Definitely get your bc and regs as soon as you can, really motivates you to go diving. Tank if your going to be doing a lot of dives would also be pretty cool.
