Bottles,

He's at it again, more wrecks for the masses to dive. There's got to be something wrong with that.

I will upload a new pic latter, I resized the one to see better.

I don't have the pics at home. The pictures were taken by GLUE club member, who was his own site http://www.expeditiondivers.ca

At least 14 new sites have been opened/reopened by GLUE dive club members working on an idea from Parks Canada. Photographs of recent findings can be located at Expedition Divers website as well as www.northerntechdiver.com and www.scubaq.ca .

Unfortunatly some of the wrecks will be only opened to GLUE members that hold a min of NAS 1 certification, for the survey and cataloging of that site, Other clubs with simular goals may be given locations to conduct surveys for POW/SOS.

Thanks to all the charter operators that participated so far, Spike Sr, Seaducer, Brooke-lauren and Big Jim. Other operators have promised to assist also.

We also have another 20 - 30 suspected sites to look at still.

Rather than looking for what's wrong with what the boys at NTD are doing

Kevin, I am new to diving and only learning which dive shops to avoid, after reading the accident thread I know to avoid KDS but what is wrong with NTD, could you let the new guy in?

I quess while i am at it could anyone suggest a good dive shop for a new diver to patronize in the cornwall, ottawa, kingston area, that won't see me as a mark to sell the latest, greatest gear too. or more courses than i want. After reading the accident thread i am in no rush, and think it is grat that new sites are being discovered

Ron's Scuba in Cornwall is a great store, with great people, . I forget the exact address (I know how to get there though). Ottawa, I have visited a few shops to get some stuff, but never taken courses. I have had no problem with the service at Dolphinos, Burtons or Shark's though.

Teamplayer,
it is best to check out the shops yourself ....I have checked out several in the Ottawa and Kingston area...all I think. The best service I have gotten is at NTD. They know diving inside and out . They have gone out of their way to make diving a safe ,fun and challenging pastime for me. They have some great charters...too
A good excuse to go all the way to Kingston is the chance to dive many fabulous wrecks
they are awesome!!!
Hope to see ya on the boat sometime.....Goodluck

safe diving....

Kevin Ripley once bubbled...
Rather than looking for what's wrong with what the boys at NTD are doing, why don't you take a look at what's right about HOW they're doing it.

Kevin

Where was it said they were doing something wrong? Or did you take offence to Jummy B's tongue in cheek comment (at least that's the way I took his comment)
