Hey ID you can't be the beer(im)moderator if you'r going to counsel sobriety!!

And I learned to drink Guiness in Doolin (at least the first couble of pints). Maybe this same track thinking is in the stars (which I otherwise don't belive) as we share a birthday! Did you have a good one?

I've changed my mind. Now I think that as beer moderator my role will be to moderate everyone ELSE'S drinking, not my own. That's why I'm keen to get Spectre back on the straight and narrow. He needs to turn away from the dissolute lifestyle he has embraced and realise that there is more to life than the bottom of a glass

That also means no more pints for you in Doolin - so I hope you enjoyed the music and craic down there. And, although I was just a gossoon at the time, I seem to recall when I lived in England there was a beer called Skol. Don't know if it's still on the market or not.
