So saddened, he contributed to some of my first posts when I was new here and had guided me along. RIP, you will be missed but NOT forgotten!!!

concur with all points - always made an effort to read his posts -does anyone know what he died from ? sickeness ? medical ? accident ?

No info but i did come across a touching Linkedin page that demonstrates the high esteem of his colleagues and students. We were lucky to share his presence online.

Well Crap!

RIP Angelo.

I was impressed that he engaged with me in a rather lengthy DM exchange about vintage SP second stages. He loved diving and seemed to love people too.

Just learning of this sad and unexpected news. Condolences to his family and friends and colleagues. Such a treasure of knowledge and a huge loss to the community of divers, I can hardly imagine the loss in his fields of expertise. I only had a few conversations with him, mostly regarding Scubapro regulators and history, but I enjoyed all of his posts.

Very sad news indeed. Never met Angelo IRL, but remember threads (about fins and fining technique, O2 rebreathers, vintage diving equipment...) Angelo was involved with and I was impress with his vast knowledge and his kindness : never overbearing, never boasting. A gentleman diver.
