Great pictures Sail Rock,
I have the E-PL2 and Olympus housing, can you please tell me how you get the Zuiko 50mm macro lens into the E-PL1 camera and housing?
Thanks,
T

with a inon 50mm macro port Inon Ports for Olympus Evolt Housings and a special adaptor to conect the port to the housing i think you still can order it from that shop in switzerland

Hi Marcel,
Thanks for the pic and the links, I have sent an email to Unterwasserkamera to find out if the adapters are still available and how much they cost.
From the picture, it seems as if the adapter is quite deep and I'm wondering if there is a large gap in between the front of the lens and the front port window?

no everything is perfectly measured. and remember you need a mmf1 or 2 adaptor to connect the 50mm to the epl cam.
did you send the e-mail to fantic.ch???

Hi Marcel,
I sent the email to the link you supplied for Mr Tom Peter.
Can you tell me why you used the Olympus 50mm macro and not the Panasonic 45mm macro?
The Panasonic is about the same price but doesn't need the lens adaptor or the port adapter and that makes it about $500 cheaper?

good question ......;-) at that time there was no wa or macro port available for the epl1 system but i wanted to shoot wa and macro so i went with the inon wa and inon macro port plus 2 special made adaptors to connect the ports to the housing. i heard the pana has a bit more colorful pics and it is easyer to use. but i dont know for sure.

I will let you know when the shop replies to me about the adaptor. I am also wondering if it is the same adaptor that Athena-ko manufactures?
Don't worry about your Olympus 50mm macro it has quality second to none!
What strobes do you use with your set-up?
