Analyzer Storage

Hello all,

How do you suggest I store my analyzer to best enhance the life of the sensor?

I use a OxyCheq - Sensor Saver it just screws to the sensor, so need s sensor with thread.

But in reality the sensor is a consumable and at about $100 for 2 years isn't that costly.

Given that it's a consumable, I'd still like to store it properly to both safeguard the device, in addition to prolonging the life of the sensor.

I realized an additional question based off your response Tbar, would be, "how does one know when the sensor is degraded to where it should be replaced"?

In my case I have the tanks filled and when I collect they are analyzed, this is written on the tank, in the shops log and in my log. Prior to the dive we check the tanks, particularly important for the others in my group who where not at the shop. Typically I see about .2% to .5% variation in the analysis shop to my analyzer. When I get erratic results, compared to shop, I will need to change the sensor, but I will hopefully change it prior to that point.
