Amsterdam recommendations

We stayed in a bed and breakfast (sorry, it was ten years ago or so and I don't have the name) and it was very pleasant. I believe our travel agent found it for us.

On our trip last month, we were staying on a boat.

Thanks again for all the quick replies. I definitely appreciate it. Thanks for the link to tripadvisor. I think I will have to pass on the Seasons.
Do you have any advice about the Jolly Carlton Hotel Amsterdam? Tripadvisor makes it seem like it might be OK to stay at.
