Heard a rumour that this flight might be restored - anyone else heard that rumour?

I was just looking myself for 06/2010 and didn't see anything. Insel Air wants $900 to go from MIA to BON and I'd still have to pay to get to MIA. Continental is $600 for June roundtrip from Chicago

Continental flies from Houston #1898 on Friday nights. So you have one stop in Houston, not direct! When you add the Dive gear flying free up to 70lbs it is the best deal! :D;) From the East coast they do fly direct from New Jersey!

Do they give you more weight allowance because you have dive gear? The last I heard your bag could only be 50lbs

Continental Air gives the first sports equipment bag up to 70lbs FREE, the second bag up to 50lbs is at $25.00! :D

No! Been that way for years, but not all the attendants know. If you have your receipt and charged you they will refund the difference. It has been their policy for at least 7 years!

Rhone Man,
Well Back to your original question. On Bonaire talk there is a rumor that AA will start back up to bonaire. however the talk is from miami direct to bonaire. don't know anything besides what i've read there.

Hi Rhone Man et al,

We have also heard some "rumbbles". The Tourism Corporation of Bonaire had their annual marketing meetings in September. Check out the article in the current Bonaire Reporter issue at Bonaire Reporter Welcome Page It states "Plans for the coming year include efforts to support all carriers to the island and to try to reestablish AA service to Bonaire either from San Juan or Miami
along with targeted consumer efforts in key markets".

Will keep my eyes and ears open.

Liz
