Amazing huh? Been riding for 9 years, skiing like a nut, rock climbing, and not a single scar from any of them...Mark my words, it's the kitchen that will get you...
Can't do belly down either, huge scar on right thigh, like the size of my hand...

Yup, kitchen fire (I thought I told you this story) - dad was cooking at 3am, fell asleep, the oil in the pot burst into flames. I woke up to the fire alarm, (unlike typical Zee fashion, I actually went to sleep early that night, had to work early..), saw the fire in the kitchen, grabbed a towel from the bathroom, tried to smother it but was still a bit sleepy and knocked it over instead. I was wearing nylon PJ bottoms, and they burst into flames. (never again...)
HANDY HINT Remember all that stuff they told you in school about rolling around when you are on fire? Don't bother, it doesn't work - trust me on this one. Run for the nearest shower, tap/whatever, or try to wrap yourself up in a cotton towel or something non flammable...
Anyway, 3rd degree burns to chest, right arm, both hands, both feet, right thighs and the odd splash on various others bits of my arms and torso.
To anyone who made note of my being barefoot a lot, it's because that summer I had been walking barefoot a lot at the beach, and the soles of my feet were like solid rock - guess which was the only part of my feet that didn't get burnt? Everything but the soles of my feet... Very halpful, it meant I could actually kind of walk Didn't have to use the freaking bed pan during my hospital stays...
