Protection from stinging critters is the main reason for a rash guard, whether from bumping into things or getting hit with random translucent critters yet most rash guards are a form of tights and in my case ain’t nobody wants to see that ;)
I bought these on the evil amazon and one the recent trip to Curacao they really did the job required of them, being a semi translucent critter myself they protected my from burning, dried fast and stopped the floating stingers, I wish I had something like this for my face I took a good hit on an ear, beside the fact that many would probably prefer I wore some sort of face covering they will just have to be happy with the measures I did take.
