I think it should be brought to everyone's attention that use powerful HID lights that you might want to consider using a lower watt backup light when looking at marine life.If you have any doubt about how strong these HID lights are, have your buddy shine one in your eyes from 5-6 feet away.
Uncle Pug has attached a Q40 to his Goodman handle on his 10W and his new 21W light. When he finds something that he wants to look at closely like an Octopus in their den, then he will turn on this little light.
It keeps from blinding the poor creatures. Easy to attach and then you can look at the critters to your hearts content.
