alternate air source/power line inflator

My recent BC purchase had the combo AI source and power line inflator included. I was wondering has anyone dove with these and what was their experience compared to the sherwood shadow +?

I have dove with the Zeagle Octo+ and I have had to breathe from it when a buddy ran out of air and I passed him my primary. I had no problems with it, however I do believe it is easier to use a regular octo personally.

I've been using a Zeagle Octo+ for about 5 years. I prefer it over a regular octo. I use a 48" hose on my primary reg, routed under my right arm. In OOA situations I donate my primary. Not only is it easy to do but I am giving a reg that is clean, purged and ready to breath. The 48" hose allows me to control the situation without having a paniced diver right under my arm. In a low air situation, my buddy can breath it and we have room to maintain a comfortable distance from each other yet stay in contact.

My in-line octo gets serviced yearly and I breath from it on every dive, somewhere along the way. My buddy and I also keep well practiced in the use of switching and sharing the octo+.

The lack of a third hose is very nice and is one less snag point. I just put together a BP and wing where I installed my Octo+...I can hear gasps from the gallery now!

Dee, does your underarm hose use an articulated joint or elbow joint at the regulator? An underarm setup might be helpful to some spearfishermen.
