I wear them as boat shoes during the summer as the rubber closed toe offs some protection from dragging tanks over your toes.
I wear them as wetsuit boots in Mexico.
Mine were purchased from Amazon. I think there were about $100.

I wish the made a "ultra" wide. I love them but the wide is almost not wide enough.

Not sure if you know (I did not) you can take the souls out and get some more room.

Size 13 was just a little too tight (I also have stupid wide feet), but without the souls they're perfect.

oh... hmm. TY will put that to the test tomorrow.

Hello ,
I'm thinking of buying the Altama Maritime Mid. And I was looking for help with sizing. I usually wear regular shoes size between 9 and 10 (42 - 43 EU) , Should I get a 10?
Thanks

Yes. I wear a 10.5 and the 11s fit very well.

I typically wear size 9.5 standard width shoes. Using one of those fancy metal shoe size measuring templates, I'm coming up as a size 9. With neoprene drysuit socks, a size 10 wide maritime mid is perfect with the insoles removed.
