Hi all,
Which brand of S40 cuf (5.7l) tank would you recommend to use as a bailout?
I've heard that the Catalinas are less buoyant and act like a steel tank when empty while the Luxfers are more buoyant when empty. The Luxfers are supposed to be "better" in that they do not change your bouyancy/trim when you unclip them as they do not add significantly to your weight.
I can get either brand of tank for the same price and would like hear from more experienced hands on this matter.
Thanks

Yup, the luxfers are more sought after due to better characteristics and that's why you'll find lots Catalina's on Craigslist.
