Welcome! Get as much training as you like--- but try to 'get wet' with some frequency-- time in the water is what makes your skills more automatic. Have fun!

Welcome to ScubaBoard, foneguy. AOW is good. Diving is good, too. You'll find the time, I know. :crafty:

But tell, me what's a "slam course"? No, seriously.

Fin on,
Bryan

PS Where are you located?

Ah, thanks. Should be a good course. I took SSI's Stress & Rescue and I loved it. Great self- and buddy-evaluation tools in the Stress portion, and some very real-feeling search and rescue practice in open water.

Bryan

hey, welcome to the board.

hmm... north coast of:
A) Hawaii?
B) Australia?
C) Canada?
D) New Zealand?

it eludes me...

Welcome to ScubaBoard!

Yeah, what's a "slam course". Sounds like a punk rock diver's delight! ;)

Don't forget to fill out your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally. I bet your new dive buddies will even come up with creative ways of getting you to dive even though you have no time to dive! :D

Dive safe!
