Took off on Rusty's Gulf Diver last night and dove the jetties on the west end. We started out on the inside of the channel and drifted the bottom inside then swam around the point and up the outside towards the beach. Visibility was 5-15' depending on where you were in the water and water temperatures were in the high 70ºsF. Max depth hit was 31' :) so we got lots of bottom time in. We saw spadefish, pufferfish, flounder(which we were shooting with polespears), grunts, cowfish, stingrays, skates, blue crabs, stone crabs, and even a redfish was sighted.

Once everyone was back on the boat we counted ~35 flounder. Matt Perkins(works at UWW) and Mikey Paul both shot a stringer full of fish, I managed to pull in 4(including the two largest fish - I believe their apetites consisted of sharks, giant squid, and the occasional whale - the other divers were simply too afraid to take on these fierce catches :D ) and Josh Lambeth hit 2 as well.

All in all, a great night. Here are some rather poor pictures from back at the dock.

Nice catch - now where are the underwater pics that kept you from filling your stringer? :D

Dove mid tide, it was a swift drift dive - fighting with a pole spear and keeping up with my buddy was fun enough :) Besides, I was getting the bigger fish :D

That bigger thing is called perspective - they were closer to the camera :D.
