I've heard consistently great things about Dennis and would love to have an opportunity to dive with him. As I understand it, if you hire him for cenote diving he'll pick you up at your residence, but all his reef diving is done out of Puerto Aventuras. Is that correct? That's maybe half an hour from Tulum.

If you're looking for something a bit closer, I've also heard good things about Chris at Lucky Fish Diving at Tankah, which is only about 10 minutes north of Tulum. I haven't had the pleasure, but hope to do so when I'm down there the end of October.
