AKR the day after Christmas for a week

We are going to AKR for a week. We started planning and researching this in March. I must say that if we have 1/2 as much fun as it has been just thinking about it we will be beat by the time we return but with a smile on our faces that can't be slapped off. Thanks to everyone who has offered information knowingly or not. I am so excited I am thinking about putting my wetsuit on so I will have something to pee in.

4 weeks until we get there. I am ready to go NOW.

We will be on the way in 4 days! Checked the weather forecast to find the temperature difference will be +/- 60 degrees between Roatan and home. Water temps +/-80 degrees. Seems like time is creeping by.

The dog is even excited, not sure why, maybe the housesitter is his new best friend. I was just thinking, I will be shoveling snow and within a few hours I'll be somewhere that has never seen snow! The only way there is any 80 degree water around here is if.....well at least it's that warm in the wet suit.
