Given the fact that Roatan is not in the "hurricane belt" I would say yes, you are drawing the right conclusions. That being said, it would still be wise to purchase travel insurance...no resort will give you a refund if a storm happens to blow in.

Barring the above, I would say it is probably prime time for diving there :acid:

Hi Guys, very very interesting information above! just inquired about weather this morning at akr and is has been at around 78 lately in an average. AKR will be close from 10/09-10/23/2010. Another thing no one mentioned is that if you book your vacation no later than June 25th you can get their current promotion, buy 1 get 2nd half price for travel any time until December!!
