What I meant was the air build into the inflator / deflator hose. As opposed to having an octopus. I was just trying to keep it plain and simple.
So you mean an AIR2 as earlier mentioned...or a second stage integrated to the LPI on your BC.

I am opposed for the simple reason that it would be very hard to control your bouyancy during an ascent while breathing off that regulator.

Not if you have a weight integrated computer.

As for the weight-integrated computer, I have one and it works great. I can adjust the amount of weight being distributed by just the push of a button. If an emergency occurs and I need to ditch the weights, all I have to do is hit delete and all the weights are gone. Forget having the ankle weights on your wrist it cause arthritis.

Sure glad you kept it simple........LOL
I have got to have one of those weight integrated computers though......very cool. I here the AI computers can add more air when you need it so that is on my X-Mas list.

I dont see a market for it, except maybe for warm water freediving. Then it could take the weight off your lower back! :)

I have already beta tested this concept with ankle weights around my wrists in the pool. But I do not feel confident enough to take it to the ocean yet!

You should also add to your X-Mas list the mask with build in wippers. If the bubbles from your reg gets in your face you could just pop them with the wippers.

I just completed my Certification dive this weekend using mine. It's very difficult to ascend properly using it. On a the other hand, it's great when you don't have an extra hose to worry about. That being said, I am searching for an Octo to replace it.
