OK, I was going to discretely ask this in the Woman Only forum, but could'nt bring myself to 'tresspass'. So, In all seriousness...are there Pee valves for womans dry suits? Sorry if I sound niave (or just dumb) but I saw a top notch woman diver with a P valve in her dry suit. I actually thought it may be a second hand suit, but when you consider the subject ,all they would need is a different shaped ...receptical. Jesters need not reply. :nurse: :embarrass

I only know one woman Drysuit diver and she is a caver and if she would have ever found one, I am quite sure she would have gotten rid of the diapers by now.

That's not to say that there isn't any, just to my knowledge no. But I agree just a different kind of receptical and Presto, she's in business.

Joe R,

Maybe the woman you saw had been to this website. Maybe they can add a drysuit section now! :D

Unfortunately I can't tell you where I saw it, but I did see a female disposable external catheter that's under final testing and should be released soon. Once available, women should be able to use the same "P" valve whose convenience we men have enjoyed.
My bride, the Lovely Young Kat, tells me it still won't get her into cold water, but I'm hoping she'll reconsider.

Apparently there are such things. Gary Gentile describes them in his Technical Diving Handbook. I don't remember the details (I really didn't pay too much attention to that subject....) but I remember it involves some sort of cup arrangement..........

I have been diving drysuit for about 10 years and as a women have not found a P-valve that I would want to use. No need to be embarrassed as this is very important on long dives. There are two kinds, one involving catharizing one self, (no thanks) and the external "cup" design. The external design that I have seen are not that good and really were not worth using. So far, I use good bladder controll or adult diapers. If you go this route, need to practice as there is an art to using diaper. (may be way more then you wanted to know). If you are not comfortable in an open discussion, just send a PM.
