Don't laugh but see if you can pick up a NIKONOS V on ebay with a SB-105 flash and cord. (Stay away from Nikonos 1-4 or other SB models.) You should be able to get both with lenses and accessories for $500 or so. A little more work (since you have to wait to develop the film to see how you did) but the lenses are VERY SHARP, and if you know what you are doing, can take amazing shots. Also get Jim Church's NIKONOS book to teach you what to do.
