I have a Tektite Expedition LS5 dive light which is rated at 750 lumens. My dive buddy however uses a 21W HID. It overpowers my dive light making communication really difficult. In an overhead / tec diving environment this is a problem. I'm quite fed up with the situation. I need a more powerfull light that has a narrow and bright spot for communication (and ideally a decent spill light). And it needs to match a 21W HID.

Some requirements
- I will crawl and climb with it occasionally (not a HID)
- Hotspot matching the one of a 21W HID (for communication)
- Runtime 90 to 120 minutes in ice cold water (dives last 60 minutes).
- Ideally mounted on top of the arm using a soft goodman handle (no canister unless absolutely needed)
- it needs to be affordable; I do carry spares.

All ideas welcome.

Try a Northern Light Scuba 1250 Lite (isn't on their website, but Cemo should be able to make you one, hisn phone number is 040 5030 248).
Mine cost me €249 each, and I love them.
