Just got a blunt tip dive knife with leg strap. The leg strap is doesn't even come close to fitting around my thigh. I am looking for one that does and hopefully doesn't cost that much. Can't find anything this on Amazon.

Any recommendations?

Put it somewhere else like your waist belt.

Dive knife on the leg is kinda out dated
I didn't know that. How can I attach this to my waist belt?

Actually I won't have a belt. I would have a weight integrated BCD this time.

Attach it to the inside of your calf. That way it can reach it with either hand. On your waist band should be a line cutter that is also reachable by either hand.

Knives are great for certain things scissors and cutters can't handle. I use mine a lot for dislodging anenemie from tires and other human junk during cleanup dives.

Waist band line cutter. I'm trying to visualize that. I would just have a BCD.

I see what you mean. How would you attach to a D-ring?

I wouldn't. I don't want it floating around, I want it where I can find it without looking. The case is velcroed so it goes on any webbing. I chose to place that just off center of my waistband so that I can reach it with either hand.

I also have a very small blunt tip knife attached to the top of the right side pocket using the grommets designed to mount that specific knife, (both bcd and knife are scubapro products).
