also, does anyone know which position for the pre-dive switch is the "pre-dive" position? I assume it is up, but the documentation is unclear?.

this is interesting - I just took mine on a week long liveaboard and I never really felt any resistance to inhale (with the switch in 'pre-dive') until close to 90 feet or greater. Just flipping to dive position was enough to make it easy, and the fine adjust knob not touched enough at all. I like this reg quite a bit.
