I have emailed Aeris several times with no response so I thought I would ask the question here.

Does anyone know what the rating is for the Atmos Pro regulator and cold water diving?

Thanks,

Chris

Not sure I understand your question? Are you asking what sort of water temperature the regulators is safe to? I will get you an answer as soon as I understand the question....just let me know buddy.

Brent

I have had my Aeris Atmos Sport down in 42 degree water with no issues. It is lower on the scale than the pro

Darylm74 - Thanks for the feedback. It is nice to know the reg can go to 42 degrees without a problem.

Brent - If you have the specs on how cold the water can be before problems occur with this regulator that would be great.

I do not plan on diving in extreme cold water but it's nice to know what the capabilities of this reg is.

Thanks for your help!

Depending on you technique it'll work in water in the 30's no worries.

Cerich,

Thanks for the feedback... what do you mean my technique?

Thanks

We called the guys at Aeris and they are pulling the official specs! But as stated above the mid 30s for the Aeris Atmos Pro should be no problem.

I will post the specs as soon as they get back with me.

Thanks Scubatoys for your help.

Your customer service has always been top notch when purchasing from you guys...
Thanks for stepping up to the plate once more to help out a fellow diver.

Looking forward to any concrete specs you may find out from Aeris.

Thanks again!

This isn't regulator specific but it applies for most regs in cold water use. I wouldn't test breathe the regulator out of the water, or purge it out of the water to see if your reg is working. That could cause freezing. I also wouldn't do long purges anytime the water is below 30.
